TOKI

A redesign of Japanese travel agency TOKI's itinerary module to create a higher aesthetic.

Individual

I interned abroad in Tokyo, Japan as a designer for a luxury travel agency: TOKI. At this time, TOKI was looking to revamp its entire brand with a more contemporary, luxurious image. Before, they were sending their clients itineraries that were made on Google Docs – there were no consistent standards or formatting, as each employee made their itinerary from scratch. Not only did this waste time, but each itinerary looked completely different.

As a result, TOKI was lacking in brand presence; they were unable to reflect their professionalism in these designs. My job was to craft a sleek, eye-catching template for their future itineraries. I aimed to design something easy on the eyes of the customers, but also something easy for TOKI to just plug in the information and allocate their time elsewhere.

VISUAL IDENTITY

I used TOKI’s signature red and white motif as my main color palette. I also included thin lines throughout the pages to represent the timeless meaning in their company name.

These mockups were originally done on Photoshop, and with the help of the engineering team, we were able to transform them into a functional template. Now, with an easy drag and drop, the staff can seamlessly customize the content using pre-written descriptions and images from the itinerary database. This ensures that the itineraries stay on brand and maintain a consistent and visually appealing look.

Awww, looks like that's the end.
