Before UX Design, I studied Communication and Japanese. As someone with a multicultural background, I've always been interested in bridging cultural gaps and connecting people — no matter how different — together.
But I also love making things and collaborating with others. Creative problem-solving and teamwork inspire me to learn more about the world with a curious and open mind.
Today I'm on a journey to discover my place in design that speaks to my unique strengths and interests. There's so much to explore in this interdisciplinary field, but I'm excited to find the combination of skills and motivations that best fit my style.
Collaboration sparks the best ideas. Powerful design solutions are the culmination of many voices. I aspire to be a thoughtful speaker and an even more thoughtful listener.
Beauty (& function) in simplicity. I strive to be conscious of the fundamental core of every problem. Great design is oftentimes invisible.
There is always room for growth. A mentor once told me, “When you are uncomfortable, you are in a position for growth." This mindset has guided me in taking risks and staying curious.
